Practice Sales and Transition Specialist
A graduate of the University of Southern California, Carla enjoyed a fourteen year career as a Registered Architect in Boston and her home town Vancouver before moving into the practice management side of her industry. As a Senior Associate she led business development and external communication within a twenty-person boutique architectural firm for two years, while simultaneously building her own successful business in the online fitness sphere.
Carla has a strong skill set for people management and project management, having led several multi-million dollar architectural projects with large consultant teams. Her ability to collaborate ensures that multiple stakeholders can all have a successful outcome, even in challenging project environments with tight deadlines.
When not designing, or helping athletes in her fitness business be at their best, Carla enjoys just about every outdoor sport, from running, hiking, and cycling, to snowboarding, and sailing. Carla has been playing the modern sport of flat track roller derby for nearly ten years, and is a Past President of Vancouver's Terminal City Rollergirls, a 150-member league currently ranked 20th in the world in sanctioned play. She is sought after as a coach, and has travelled to leagues in Australia and Europe, as well as closer to home in North America. Her athletic pursuits build up an appetite, and Carla enjoys exploring the local food and wine scene wherever she travels.
